Overview:
The ReBirth Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Program is designed to equip participants with the skills and certifications needed to launch a career in construction. The eight weeks of classroom instruction and hands-on lab experiences will provide a comprehensive introduction to construction trades, including modules on construction math, hand & power tools, blueprint reading, and basic rigging.
Specializations:
Plumbing
- The Tradesman Plumber - Covers plumbing theory, basic systems, regulatory guidelines, and plumbing codes
- Plumbing Journeyman Prep provides a review of subjects necessary to pass the written exam for the license through the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) portal.
Carpentry
- Our comprehensive training combines classroom instruction with practical, hands-on experience, allowing you to master essential carpentry techniques, from blueprint reading and measuring to framing and finishing.
Additional Services Included:
- Career Readiness: Advocating, communication, time management, problem-solving, financial literacy, and technology skills.
- Job Placement: Employment placement assistance and referrals to employers and industry partners.
- Case Management: A Case Manager that supports successful program completion and twelve months following.
- Social Service Support: Our team ensures that social service needs are addressed and there are no barriers to success.
